WORLD'S LARGEST WEATHERVANE
On the shores of White Lake in Montague, Michigan, stands the World's Largest Weathervane. Just a few short blocks from the Whitehall Products Manufacturing plant this behemoth of weathervanes stands 48 feet tall, 14 feet wide, with a 26 foot long arrow that points into the wind with the slightest breeze.. Weighing in at over 4,300 lbs., this giant of weathervanes was designed and crafted by the employees of the Whitehall Products Company. The schooner ornament was chosen to commemorate the heritage of the area's lumbering and shipping industry. At the base of this enormous .weathervane is a weather station. The site is a favorite tourist attraction and offers a backdrop for photography buffs.
